Rangers fans have been allocated 9500 tickets for the Europa League final in Seville.

The Ibrox club booked their place in the final on May 18 after Thursday night’s thriller at home.

It will take place at the 43,000 Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium, home of Sevilla FC.

Rangers had hoped to get 10,000 tickets, but the allocation has been cut to ensure segregation between their fans and those of opponents Eintracht Frankfurt.

After the dust settled on Rangers’ 3-1 victory over RB Leipzig, the rush for fans to buy tickets and find a way to Seville for the side’s first European final in 14 years is under way.

For supporters travelling independently, tickets will be sold to MyGers members with tickets allocated in a top-down method from those with the highest to the lowest loyalty points, as has been the approach for all European matches this season, the club said.

Rangers’ allocation will include 4000 tickets in categories 3 and 4 which includes some areas of restricted view seating. These tickets are complimentary (free of charge) and are subject to availability. Supporters will have the option to select one of these or purchase a full price ticket.

Ticket prices are:

  • Category 2: €100 (restricted view €80)
  • Category 3: €65 (restricted view €50)
  • Category 4: Complimentary

Supporters with the highest MyGers points will be given the first option to select their seats.

Rangers expected to receive 10,000 tickets but, the club’s supporters liaison officer said it had been cut by 500 due to segregation.
