A Scottish football team has chosen to keep the same kit for their latest season to ease the financial pressures facing fans.

Queen’s Park announced that they will continue to use the same home kit used in the 2023/2024 season for the upcoming one that kicks off in July.

The Glasgow club said they had made the decision in recognition of the time of “financial austerity” across the country.

Queen’s Park’s head of commercial Kieran Koszary said: “It has become the norm at a lot of clubs to change both home and away kits at the start of every season.

“We have made the decision not to do that.”

The team will be bringing out a new away kit, which the club said has a “nod to their history” launching in June.
