Orestis Kiomourtzoglou has left Hearts to join German side Greuther Furth for a six-figure fee.
The 25-year-old midfielder joined the Edinburgh club last from Dutch side Heracles Almelo and made 27 appearances as the Jambos finished fourth in the Premiership.
He completed his return to his home country to sign for the Bundesligia 2 side on Friday.
Hearts confirmed the departure on their website and said he had moved for an “undisclosed six-figure fee”.
A club statement said: “We would like to thank Kio for his efforts and we wish him all the best with his career back in Germany.”
The move is subject to international clearance.
