Official Scotland travel partner Barrhead Travel reveal World Cup packages and prices

Barrhead Travel, the official travel partner of the Scotland national team, have released a host of packages for fans heading across the Atlantic for next summer’s World Cup.

Steve Clarke will lead the men’s team to their first World Cup in 28 years with group games against Haiti, Morocco and Brazil.

Scotland’s opening two matches will be played in Foxborough, just outside Boston, and the final group game will be in Miami against five-time winners Brazil.

Barrhead Travel now have packages, some including match tickets and others not, on sale on their website now.

And some of the prices have been described as “eye-watering”.

On the more expensive side of the scale is a two-week package that takes in both Boston and Miami, with hotel stays in both cities and match tickets for all three group games, costing over £14,000 per person.

At the other end of the scale is a five-night stay in Boston to be in the city when Scotland play Morocco, but with no match tickets included, for £1,999 per person.

Another package has match tickets for Scotland v Morocco and Scotland v Brazil, with a seven-night stay between Boston and Miami for £9,099 per person.

The most affordable package, including a matchday ticket, is a three-night stay in Boston and a ticket for the Morocco game, for £4,099 per person.

Six nights at Miami Beach, to be in the city for the Brazil game but without a match ticket, is coming in at £2,339 per person.

Tens of thousands of Tartan Army are expected to make the trip in what could be an adventure like no other.
