Nicolas Raskin insists Rangers are remaining calm as they work hard to find consistent form this season.
The Ibrox side and manager Philippe Clement have come in for heavy criticism since the start of the campaign and it increased when they lost 2-1 at Aberdeen last week to go nine points behind Celtic and the Dons at the top of the William Hill Premiership.
And the Gers’ 2-1 comeback League Cup semi-final win over Motherwell at Hampden Park on Sunday came only after they were booed off at the interval when they were a goal down.
Ahead of the Europa League clash with Olympiacos in the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium on Thursday night, the 23-year-old Belgian midfielder said: “We know expectations are high. We have those expectations also and we want to win every game.
“We know we’ve not had the results we wanted in the last couple of weeks but we’re working hard.
“I think the way we play, we’re trying to do something good.
“It’s about being better in both boxes in some games but we’re really calm with that.
“We know what we have to do and we’re working hard. So with this mentality, we’re going to improve day by day.”
Raskin has been one of Rangers’ better performers in recent weeks but he believes team work is the key to success for Rangers against Olympiacos, current UEFA Conference League champions.
He said: “A game like tomorrow night is a game that you need to do as a team.
“You can’t do it if the team is not all together. So I think we first need to show a good team performance and then out of that we can maybe have some good individuality.
“But first of all, it’s about a good team.”
The former Standard Liege player is delighted to be over his injury woes.
He said: “It is never fun when you are injured, especially because I had the same ankle injured twice.
“I was a bit sad at the time but we worked well with the medical staff and I’m happy to be back on the pitch.”
