FC Midtjylland boss Bo Henriksen is looking forward to an exciting Champions League tussle with Celtic and believes his side have the attacking edge to knock the Scots out of the competition.

A 1-1 draw at Celtic Park last week has set up an all-or-nothing return leg in Denmark on Wednesday, with the winner progressing to the third qualifying round with the loser dropping to the Europa League.

Henriksen believes there’s little to separate the teams but sees home advantage as something his side’s favour, saying that Midtjylland can take confidence from their attacking prowess at the MCH Arena.

“At home, it’ll be difficult to hold us from scoring,” he told STV. “We know what we are capable of doing at home.

“We’ll probably get on the ball, be on the ball a little bit more and create more, hopefully. We need to be good defensively and we just need to win 1-0.

“I think it’s 50/50 as it was before the first game. We know it’s going to be a difficult and tough game. We know how important a game it is. For the rest of the season it can be really important for both teams to try and get through to the next stage.

“Obviously we’re at home and that could give us an advantage but it’s going to be an intense and crazy game. It’s going to be fun.”

Celtic will be looking to bounce back from the blow of a 6-2 friendly defeat to West Ham on Saturday but manager Ange Postecoglou says his team have to get that out of their system and focus on progress.

“We have three or four days and it’s as much about the players as it is about us,” he told Celtic’s website after the game. “My job is to continually work with them along with the staff to give them the tools they need.

“It’s about them as well, it’s about them growing and understanding what you can and can’t do out on the football field – and what approach you need to take.

“It’ll be as much about their response as it is about me giving them guidance moving forward.”
