Joel Nouble is looking to rattle Rangers again when the Light Blues travel to Livingston on Saturday.
The 27-year-old striker scored after five minutes of the opening Premiership game of the season before the Light Blues came back to win 2-1 at the Tony Macaroni Arena.
Nouble again scored early at Ibrox in October, to help Livi leave Govan with a point after a 1-1 draw and he insists he thrives on the bigger challenges.
He said: “Luckily in those games I have had opportunities and I have taken them.
“When we play against Celtic or Rangers, I probably get a bit more space than when playing against other teams.
“I try to go into every game with the same mindset but anyone would be lying if they said they don’t look forward to playing against Rangers or Celtic so I like playing against them and testing myself.
“I know in most of the game they will have a lot of the ball and we are going to have to defend hard but when I get an opportunity I am going to try to make something of it.
“If you don’t want to challenge yourself in football, I don’t see the point of playing.
“That’s where my mindset is, I always want to push myself and challenge to see if I can go to the next level so Saturday is another opportunity and hopefully I do well.
“So far when I have played Rangers I feel like I have had good games so hopefully another one at the weekend.
“If I do that then that can help the boys win the game. That’s the aim.
“I know that they are one of the best teams in the league and so have some of the best players in the league but I am a confident player against any player in the league, I feel I can do well against anyone.”
