Livingston v St Johnstone: Teams named for Scottish Cup quarter-finalSNS Group

David Martindale and Simo Valakari have named their starting lineups for Monday’s Scottish Cup quarter-final clash.

Championship side Livingston host Premiership strugglers St Johnstone at Almondvale with the last semi-final place, and a trip to Hampden, at stake.

The winners will join Aberdeen, Hearts and holders Celtic in the draw for the last four that will take place at full time.

Hearts beat Dundee on Friday before Aberdeen knocked out Queen’s Park on Saturday and Celtic got the better of Hibs on Sunday.

Livingston are currently third in the Championship as they aim to return to the top-flight at the first time of asking.

St Johnstone are rock bottom in the Premiership but have picked up a bit of form recently with five wins from their last eight games.

Martindale has started with Prior, Brandon, McGowan, Wilson, Shinnie, Pittman, Kelly, Montano, Muirhead, Yengi and Tait.

Valakari has named Fisher in goals behind Balodis, Mitchell, Douglas, Curtis, Sprangler, Holt, Duke-McKenna, Svedberg, Kirk and Sidibeh.
