Motherwell will have Liam Gordon back in their squad for Saturday’s William Hill Premiership encounter with Rangers.
The defender missed last weekend’s 1-0 win over Dundee but will face a battle to dislodge Paul McGinn and Stephen Welsh from central defence after the Steelmen made it six games without conceding a goal.
Manager Jens Berthel Askou said: “We have Liam Gordon back in the squad. He was sick the last game. Besides that there is nothing new.”
Welsh is set to play his last game of 2025 at Ibrox as the on-loan Celtic defender cannot face the champions on December 30.
