The dates for the semi-final of the Scottish League Cup have been announced.
Holders Celtic, Rangers, Motherwell and St Mirren will do battle at Hampden Park for a place in the final of the Premier Sports Cup.
Celtic travelled to Firhill to take on Partick Thistle in the last of the weekend’s cup games, cruising to victory. Yang, Sebastian Tounekti, Liam Scales and Luke McCowan were all on target in a 4-0 win.
Rangers went into their quarter-final against Hibs under pressure after a winless start to the league season. But goals from Nico Raskin and Bojan Miovski lifted the mood and guaranteed a trip to Hampden.
St Mirren were the first side to book their place in the final four, defeating Kilmarnock in a penalty shoot-out on Friday night to progress.
Motherwell joined them in the hat after Regan Charles Cook scored the only goal of the game at Pittodrie to see off Aberdeen.
Now the ties have been confirmed with Celtic and Rangers squaring off on Sunday, November 2, with a kick-off time of 2pm.
Motherwell and St Mirren will then face off on Saturday, November 1, kicking off at 5.30pm.
