Kyle Rowe says Glasgow Warriors will “embrace” the atmosphere at the Aviva stadium when they take on Leinster in the European Rugby Champions Cup.
Franco Smith’s men travel to Dublin for the quarter-final clash on Friday with a large and passionate home crowd expected.
Rowe insists that, rather than be intimidated, they will look to use the occasion to their advantage.
The 27-year-old wing said: “I’m going to really look forward to it, under the lights on a Friday night at 8pm.
“We just need to not get too intimidated by the occasion; we know it’s going to be a massive occasion as long as we don’t shy away from it, embrace it, and let it feed what we are trying to do and just go to play our own rugby.”
The Warriors reached the last eight of the Champions Cup with an impressive win over English Premiership side Leicester at Scotstoun last week.
They ran out 43-19 winners with Sione Vailanu and Henco Venter both scoring twice.
It was their first-ever home knockout tie in the competition, and they marked it by scoring six tries to overwhelm the visitors.
They have now been rewarded with a trip to Dublin to take on Leinster, who thrashed Harlequins earlier in the day.
