The brand new Premiership season is set to kick off at Rugby Park as Kilmarnock host Livingston in the first game of the 2025/26 campaign.
With only one 3pm game on the opening day, all eyes are on Ayrshire to see who can get off to a winning start.
Stuart Kettlewell is taking charge of his first league game at Killie after replacing Derek McInnes following his departure to Hearts.
Meanwhile David Martindale and Livingston are back in the top-flight after a season in the Championship.
Whoever takes all three points will go top of the table for at least a couple of hours until Motherwell play Rangers at Fir Park later on Saturday.
Kettlewell has started with Stryjek in goals and a three-man defence of Brandon, Mayo, and Stanger with Lyons, Brannan, Polworth, Lowery, and Watson supporting a front two of Daniels and Dackers.
Martindale has Prior in goals behind Finlayson, McGowan, Wilson, Montgomery, Tait, Sylla, Pittman, Winter, Carey, and Muirhead.
Following Saturday’s double header there will be another three games on Sunday as Falkirk host Dundee United, Hibernian travel to Dundee and champions Celtic begin the defence of their title at home to St Mirren.
Hearts and Aberdeen will then get their campaign underway at Tynecastle on Monday night.
