Kilmarnock have submitted an appeal against the red card Stuart Findlay was shown against Ross County on Saturday.
The defender was sent off by referee Colin Steven after eight minutes at Rugby Park. He was judged to have fouled Ross Stewart and deny County an obvious goalscoring opportunity.
Ten-man Killie went on to win the game 3-1 but, after reviewing the incident , manager Alex Dyer felt Findlay had won the ball and has decided to appeal the decision and subsequent ban.
“He definitely touched the ball twice,” he said. “I’ve looked back at it two or three times and there is contact on the ball. I will appeal it and hope for the best.”
The incident will be reviewed by an independent panel on Wednesday, November 25.
