Kilmarnock announce signing of Estonian defender Schjønning-Larsen

Kilmarnock have confirmed the January signing of defender Michael Schjønning-Larsen.

The left-back joins the Rugby Park club from Estonian side FCI Levadia Tallinn on a deal running until May 2027.

The 24-year-old has been a regular in the Estonian top flight and brings international experience, having represented Estonia.

A Kilmarnock statement read: “We are delighted to confirm the signing of defender Michael Schjønning-Larsen, who joins the club and will be eligible to play from January 1st.

“The 24-year-old left back arrives from FCI Levadia Tallinn until May 2027, where he has been a key figure in the Estonian top-flight.

“Schjønning-Larsen also brings international experience, having represented the Estonia national team.

“Born in Denmark and capped by Estonia at senior level, Michael is known for his pace, versatility, and ability to contribute at both ends of the pitch.

“Everyone at Kilmarnock would like to welcome Michael to the club.”
