John Beaton has been appointed as the match referee for Sunday’s Old Firm clash.
The game is crucial in the tussle for the Premiership title, with Celtic currently one point ahead of their treble-chasing city rivals, who hold a game in hand.
Heading into the third derby of the season, which kicks off at 12pm, Brendan Rodgers’ side have come out on top of both fixtures.
They emerged 1-0 victors at Ibrox in September before ending 2023 with a 2-1 win at Parkhead.
Both fixtures were not without their share of controversies – at Ibrox, Don Robertson controversially chalked off a Kemar Roofe goal, following a VAR review.
Rangers then demanded the SFA ban Willie Collum from all of their future matches after claiming the VAR was wrong not to penalise Alistair Johnston for a handball in December’s defeat at Celtic Park.
Beaton has been tasked with officiating the top-of-the-table clash, and will be assisted by Nick Walsh in the VAR control room, alongside assistant Frank Connor.
Collum has been appointed as the fourth official, with Daniel McFarlane and Dougie Potter being confirmed as the assitant referees.
