Jo Potter says Rangers “aren’t scared to play at Ibrox” in showpiece games ahead of a top-of-the-table clash with Glasgow City.
The SWPL leaders take on the former 16-time champions with just a point separating the two sides, with Rangers and rivals Celtic the only remaining undefeated sides in the division.
Potter’s side have scored 55 goals in nine games so far this season, recording two 9-0 victories over Queen’s Park and Montrose and defeating Dundee United by ten goals to nil in September.
Ahead of the game against Leanne Ross’ side, Potter said showpiece games should be played at Ibrox to continuing showcasing the women’s game.
She said: “It’s a game we’re relishing to be playing in especially at Ibrox.
“It’s important for us. I said previously when we played Celtic we’re not scared to play these games there.
“It’s important these games are put on a showpiece. We have to make sure we’re the ones pushing the league.
“We’re not scared, we want fans to come to these kind of games, to put on a show.
“We want to play at the best grounds. It’s important for the players to feel it, the atmosphere and the big occasion.”
The game takes place while the Scottish Premiership is on international break.
Potter believes it is important for the league to capitalise to allow for more fans to come to support the game.
She added: “It’s a big thing for us when we’re trying to plan these games, that the men aren’t playing and its an international break.
“We were fearful when we played Celtic at Broadwood that the men were playing Lyon that night and it was a bit of a disappointment for us but we needed to for TV reasons, but the fan’s turnout was brilliant.
“I think we had nearly 2,000 there that night which felt like a good amount in Broadwood.
“I am just hoping that with it being at Ibrox and the men not having a game with the international break they can definitely turn up and support our girls.”
