Ange Postecoglou has named his starting lineup to play St Johnstone in the Christmas Eve clash at Celtic Park.

The Hoops are looking to regain their nine-point advantage at the top of the Premiership against Callum Davidson’s side who could move up to third with a win in Glasgow.

James Forrest returns for the home side as does Aaron Mooy who starts his first game since helping Australia reach the last-16 of the World Cup.

Daizen Maeda also comes in as part of three changes from the midweek win over Livingston.

Anthony Ralston, Liel Abada and Jota drop out meaning Mooy will likely be deployed in an unfamiliar right back role with Juranovic and Johnstone still unavailable.

The Celtic team is Hart in goals behind, Taylor, Carter-Vickers, Starfelt, Mooy, McGregor, Hatate, O’Riley, Forrest, Kyogo and Maeda.

Davidson’s side line-up with Matthews in goals behind Wright, McGowan, Gordon, Considine, Brown, Phillips, Hallberg, Carey, Clark and May.

Both teams will wear their away kits as part of Shelter Scotland’s Christmas campaign.
