Inverness Caledonian Thistle have announced the signing of James Carragher, son of former Liverpool captain and current Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher.
The 21-year-old has moved on a loan from Wigan Athletic that runs until the end of the season.
Carragher will now look to help manager Duncan Ferguson and his side with their push for promotion to the Premiership.
The Wigan player, who plays in central defence like his dad, was a youth player at Anfield but left the club in 2017.
He captained Wigan’s Under-18 side, winning the U18s Professional Development League in his first season at the club.
Carragher has only made one appearance for the club, appearing in the EFL Cup, but was given a new two-year contract in April 2023.
✍️ Inverness Caledonian Thistle can confirm the signing of centre-back James Carragher on loan from Wigan Athletic until the end of the season, subject to international clearance.
