Josh Taylor’s world light-welterweight title fight with Jack Catterall has been postponed until next year.

Taylor was scheduled to meet Englishman Catterall in Glasgow on December 18 but the Scot has suffered a knee injury in training.

The fight will now take place on February 26, 2022 at the same OVO Hydro venue.

Taylor said: “I’m gutted I won’t be able to defend my title on December 18 as originally planned, but I wanted to make sure I was 100 per cent healthy to give my incredible fans the show they deserve.

“This homecoming has been a long time in the making, and it will be worth the wait. I will see everyone on February 26.”
