Roger Federer has announced his retirement from tennis – saying his final event will be at the Laver Cup in London.
Unquestionably one of the greatest ever tennis players, Federer is now 41 and hasn’t played for more than a year after undergoing knee surgery for the third time in 18 months.
Five years ago, the Swiss maestro visited Glasgow to take on Andy Murray in a charity match at the Hydro.
From sporting a kilt to providing his Scottish opponent with some eye-catching headgear, Federer certainly had fun.
In pictures, he’s a reminder of that night in November 2017.
