Hibernian have signed Celtic midfielder Hyeokkyu Kwon on a season-long loan deal.
The South Korea under-22 international has joined the Easter Road club until the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
After joining Celtic last summer the 23-year-old spent the majority of last season on loan to Premiership side St Mirren.
He has yet to play a competitive game for the Hoops but played in pre-season wins over Man City and Chelsea and largely impressed for the Buddies and helped them towards a fifth place finish.
Hibs play Celtic in the League Cup at the weekend but the South Korean will be ineligible for that one and could instead make his debut in the Premiership game against Dundee the following week.
After confirming the signing manager David Gray said: “Hyeokkyu provides us with another option in midfield being able to play as both a deeper 6 and as an 8.
“As a player, he’s a great athlete, he’s very competitive, and comfortable on the ball. He showed these capabilities during an impressive loan spell last season.
“We’re delighted to bring him to the Club and look forward to working with him.”
