Hibernian goalkeeper Jordan Smith has signed a new contract until 2028.
The 30-year-old Englishman joined last summer on a two-year deal following his departure from Stockport.
Smith began the season as back-up to Josef Bursik but has started each of Hibs’ last 18 matches – a run in which they have lost just once and climbed from the bottom of the William Hill Premiership to third place.
“We’ve really enjoyed working with Jordan, and we’re delighted he’s extended his stay with us,” manager David Gray told the club’s official website.
“He worked hard whilst waiting for his opportunity at the start of the season, and has gone from strength-to-strength since coming into the starting XI.
“Jordan uses his experience well both on and off the pitch, and is a really good influence in the dressing room.”
