Zander Clark has signed a new deal at Hearts that commits him to the club for another two years.
The Scotland international has been backup to Craig Gordon this season and was reaching the last six months of his current deal.
But the 32-year-old has now put pen to paper on an extension that will run until 2027.
Former St Johnstone keeper Clark moved to Tynecastle in 2022 and has kept 24 clean sheets in 68 appearances.
His form last season led to him being included in the Scotland squad for the European Championships in Germany over the summer.
Hearts confirmed the deal on Wednesday and manager Neil Critchley says he is “delighted” with the news.
He said: “It’s fantastic news that Zander has committed his future to the club.
“It can be challenging for a goalkeeper when they’re not playing but Zander trains at 100% every day, he’s supportive to his teammates and he’s a big part of our plans going forward.
“To have three top class goalkeepers competing with each other is a good thing for the club and I’m delighted to get the opportunity to continue working with him beyond the end of this season.”
