Jordan Amissah has left Ross County to sign for English League One side Burton Albion.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper made 20 Premiership appearances last season as the Highland club were relegated from the top tier.

He also played both play-off games against Livingston that consigned County to the Championship.

Amissah joined the Staggies in December 2024 after five months without a club following his departure from Sheffield United last summer.

He now returns to Burton Albion, where he spent five months on loan in 2023, on a permanent deal.

The Dingwall club confirmed the news on Monday.

A statement posted on social media said: “Ross County FC can confirm Jordan Amissah has left the club and has joined Burton Albion.

“Jordan made 23 appearances for the club since joining in December last year.

“We thank Jordan for his contributions whilst at the club and wish him all the very best for the future.”
