Former Rangers star Nacho Novo is set to enter the boxing ring and fight a ‘TikTok influencer’ at Glasgow’s Hydro arena.
The former Ibrox forward won four league titles, a Scottish Cup and two league cups during his time on the pitch in Glasgow, however, the 45-year-old is now trading his boots for gloves.
He will take on influencer Caz Milligan, who has over 100,000 followers on video platform TikTok, at the Ovo Hydro Arena on August 10.
In the promotional video, posted on X, Novo revealed he wanted to push himself after battling health problems, including a heart attack back in 2018.
The former striker said: “Whatever happens in life you can push yourself try whatever you want to do.”
Opponent Milligan added: “I was once a kid with Novo number 10 printed on my back but now I’m going to have the referee counting to 10 with Novo on his back.”
Tickets for the summer fight are now on sale with Ticketmaster and are priced from £47 to £228.
