Rangers boss Danny Rohl says he sees a growing belief within his squad that they can build momentum and pick up top form ahead of some “big games” coming up in the league and cup.

The Ibrox side visit Easter Road to take on Hibernian on Wednesday night before coming up against Celtic at Hampden in the League Cup semi-final on Sunday.

After a disappointing night in Norway in their Europa League defeat to SK Brann, Rohl got off to a winning start domestically with a 3-1 victory over Kilmarnock at the weekend.

He is now looking to build on that, starting in the capital against in-form Hibs, as they look to start climbing up the table.

“Of course, we have some big games ahead. Since I arrived, I think every game has been big, and the next one is always bigger.

“My full focus is on tomorrow night, we want to win games and climb up the table, you cannot miss one opportunity to win games.

“When I look at my players, I see a big belief now, I think they are believing in what we are doing. In the last week, we had a reaction after a big defeat. I think that is also important for us and the players to see that we can come back after a setback.

“The pressure is always on; it’s football. I have enjoyed the last couple of days with the players and the staff. We want to keep the momentum going, and that starts tomorrow.

“It has been a huge step with the atmosphere the last couple of days, and we need to keep building on that win after win. It’s a big week with a big game tomorrow and then an even bigger game after that.

“The atmosphere on Sunday was great, and it was great being at Ibrox. The performance wasn’t the best, but we are still learning and developing, and we learn from it going into the next game.”
