Rangers and Celtic are going head-to-head for the second time in a week, with a place in the Scottish Cup semi-final on the line.
The Old Firm duo battled out a tantalising 2-2 draw at Ibrox on Sunday as both sides continue to chase leaders Hearts for the title.
Two second-half goals from Kieran Tierney and a late penalty by Reo Hatate completed Celtic’s comeback on their rivals’ turf after Rangers started strong.
A double from Youssef Chermiti, including a stunning overhead kick, had Celtic on the ropes and the home side cruising at half-time.
This time, the two meet in the quarter-final of the Scottish Cup, with a place at Hampden in the semi-final up for grabs.
More than 7,500 Celtic fans will be housed in the Broomloan Stand at Ibrox – the largest away support since 2018.
While Rangers boss Dany Rohl admits the Celtic fans will have an “impact”, he believes that if his side replicates last week’s first half then the 7,500 travelling fans will be “quiet”.
“Of course it will have an impact”, he said.
“If we play 50 minutes like we did then the 7,500 will also be quiet. I think this is the part in the game where you feel it. We can influence, we can make the impact on our performance on the pitch.”
Meanwhile, Celtic face injury doubts over Kieran Tierney and goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, with the defender forced off against Aberdeen in midweek with a foot injury.
O’Neill said he will assess how the left-back is on Saturday, with a similar situation surrounding Schmeichel after he received an injection.
The Northern Irishman is in his second spell as interim boss this season after being manager of Celtic between 2000-2005 and finds himself embroiled in an epic title battle.
He said: “You could say that in recent years, fans have maybe been spoiled, no real challenges in many aspects.
“Being able to coast home in the last six or seven games of a season, which is great because you’ve done that. But the challenge has not been strong.
“Here it is. Here Hearts have arrived on the spot maybe a few years before they thought they would do.
“Rangers have come strongly and spent some money getting good players in at the football club.
“So it’s been a challenge all season and certainly been the challenge in my couple of spells in here, where you’re winning some matches and you’re still trying to peg teams back.
“But we’re in with a chance anyway, that’s the point.
“I don’t think it (Sunday’s game) would have a serious bearing (on title), but in terms of confidence building, of course, those things always matter.
“But for the league, I’m not sure. It’s down now to what, nine games left.”
