John McGlynn hailed his Falkirk side after they fought back from two goals down to draw with Hibernian on Tuesday night.
The Bairns boss said he was “very proud” of his team as they climbed from tenth to eighth in the Premiership after an entertaining 2-2 draw.
A Martin Boyle penalty and a strike from Jamie McGrath gave David Gray’s side a commanding 2-0 lead in the first half at the Falkirk Stadium.
But Ross MacIver got the home side back into it with an injury-time goal just before half-time, and Liam Henderson completed the comeback just after the hour mark.
Falkirk, who are back in the top-flight for the first time in 16 years after back-to-back promotions, might even feel as if they could have taken all three points as they pushed for a winner at the end.
After the game, McGlynn said: “I am very proud of the players for the performance that they’ve put on out there.
“I thought we started the game very well, then Hibs came into it and it was nip and tuck.
“We’re not going to have as much of the ball as we’ve had in the Championship and League One, so we know that we’re going to have to do well without the ball. And I thought we were doing that.
“The penalty is out of nothing and they scored a decent second goal and we found ourselves 2-0 down.
“But the goal that we got back before half-time certainly makes the team talk at half-time a much easier one and gives the players a lot of confidence going into the second half.
“I felt we were the better team in the second half. We went towards the Hibs goal continuously and the team spirit was great.
“I thought the draw was no more than we deserved.
“They put everything into it. As a manager, you couldn’t ask for an awful lot more when you are 2-0 down against a team like Hibs, to come back into it and then try to win the game.”
