Hibernian FC and Glasgow City will be in action midweek as they aim to qualify for the inaugural Women’s Europa Cup.
Both sides will enter the continent’s second tier tournament at the first qualifying round, which will get under way with the first leg games on Wednesday.
SWPL champions Hibs take on Serie A side Inter Milan, with the first game being played in Italy and the return leg in Edinburgh the following week.
City begin their campaign at home to Irish side Athlone Town at Petershill Park, before travelling across the water for the second leg.
If they get through these ties then there will be another qualifying round in October to reach the last 16 of the competition proper.
Unlike the men’s version, the Europa Cup will consist of two-legged knockouts up to and including the final, which will be held in the last week of August and the first week of May.
Hibs were eliminated from the Champions League after losing to Danish side Fortuna Hjorring in the qualifying rounds, while City were defeated by Austria Wien at the same stage.
