Brendan Rodgers insists he is more motivated than ever to turn Celtic’s form around as they look to get their season back on track.
The Hoops host Sturm Graz in the Europa League on Thursday before travelling to Edinburgh to take on Premiership leaders Hearts on Sunday.
Celtic have struggled to find their top form this season, and recent defeats to Braga and Dundee have thrown their campaign into doubt domestically and in Europe.
Rodgers has urged his players to “stand up and fight” and get back to their best as they look for solutions to get them back to winning ways.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, ahead of their game against the Austrian champions, Rodgers said: “In terms of personnel, and team shape, it is something we are constantly looking at. You are always wanting to find some level of stability, we have obviously had important players out as well, which can make a difference to our level.
“Stability is important, and that allows to find a tempo and dictate the speed of a game that you actually want and to deliver the best performance that you can.
“I will never stop, I am so motivated to try and find the solutions to find a way and to use my experience to help us get there.
“It’s not meant to be easy, it’s not always just about winning trebles and doubles, sometimes you have to stand up and fight, or else it’s over, and that’s clearly not what we want.
“We are a remarkable club, and one I am privileged to manage, in this tough moment, and it is tough, I need to stand up and see where we can improve.
After the defeat at Dens Park on Sunday, Rodgers spoke about having to find Ferrari speed in a Honda Civic.
And he says he has no regrets about those comments, but admits it is down to him to find the required level from his squad.
He said: “It’s something that I said at the time because I felt it, so I have no regrets over that. I need to get a level of performance out of this squad, and that is what I am determined to do.
“I have never been more motivated in all my time at Celtic, at this point in time I couldn’t be any more motivated to turn it around.”
