Over £100,000 was raised for charity as Premier League footballers joined Scotland captain Andy Robertson’s charity golf day at Gleneagles.

The Liverpool player’s Captain’s Cup Golf Day attracted a host of famous faces on June 12.

Premier League stars Mason Mount, James Milner, and John McGinn were among those spotted out on the course as they supported Robertson’s efforts to raise vital funds for the AR26 charity.

The charity aims to provide every young person in Scotland with an equal start in life through free football coaching, mentorship programmes, and life-changing, once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

Sponsored by Arnold Clark, the event included live auctions and prize draws for signed football shirts from Premier League legends Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk, and raised an £102,498 overall.
