League matches across the country have been postponed after freezing temperatures have left a number of pitches unplayable on a busy weekend of fixtures.
The SPFL has announced that seven games are off.
The Highland League said on Friday that it had cancelled its entire programme for Saturday with no games unaffected by the weather.
Dunfermline’s home game against Ross County in the SPFL Championship is the most high-profile game to be cancelled, with a frozen pitch meaning the match can’t go ahead. Ayr United v Queen’s Park has also been postponed in the Championship.
In League 1, Cove Rangers v Montrose and Inverness Caledonian v Peterhead are off due to snow. Hamilton Accies v East Fife failed a pitch inspection on Saturday morning.
In League 2, snow has forced the postponement of Elgin City v East Kilbride, while a frozen pitch means Stirling Albion v Annan Athletic can’t go ahead.
The Spartans v Dumbarton passed a pitch inspection at 11.00am
