Five men have been arrested over disturbances which followed the Aberdeen v Rangers match on Sunday.

The match ended in a 2-0 victory for the Dons, under interim boss Barry Robson.

Four men, aged between 16 and 24, were arrested and charged in connection with offences around Pittodrie Stadium on April 23.

A fifth man, 18, was later also arrested and charged over damage caused to a bus on Aberdeen’s Hutcheon Street at around 6.55pm on Sunday.

They are all expected to appear in court at a later date.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Four males, aged between 16 and 24, were arrested and charged in connection with a number of offences around Pittodrie Stadium on Sunday, 23 April, 2023.

“They are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court at a later date.

“A further 18-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with damage caused to a bus on Hutcheon Street, which took place around 6.55pm on the same date.

“He is expected to appear at court at a later date.”
