Police made five arrests following disorder during Sunday’s Edinburgh Derby.
Hibernian hosted Hearts at Easter Road as Derek McInnes’ side continued their fight in the three-horse title race.
Officers arrested five males during the Jambos’ vital 2-1 win over their rivals.
Three males, aged 15, 24 and 32, were apprehended before kick-off. The teenage boy has been reported to the relevant authority.
The 24-year-old man was charged with threatening and abusive behaviour. He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
During the derby, two men aged 17 and 22 were charged in connection with a pitch invasion. The pair are due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Five males have been arrested following disorder at the Hibernian V Hearts match at Easter Road on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
“Three males, aged 15, 24 and 32, were arrested prior to the game.
“The 15-year-old will be reported to the relevant authority, and the 24-year-old was charged in connection with threatening and abusive behaviour and is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.
“The 32-year-old has been released pending further enquiries.
“During the game, two men aged 17 and 22, were arrested and charged following a pitch invasion. They are due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.”
