Dundee United manager Jim Goodwin has spent the night in hospital after falling ill on Thursday.
Goodwin was admitted to hospital on Thursday and stayed overnight as a precaution, STV Sport understands.
He is believed to still be in hospital.
Assistant manager Lee Sharpe said at a press conference on Friday that Goodwin intends to be in the dugout on Saturday at Rugby Park, as United take on Kilmarnock.
It comes after a difficult start to the season for the Tannadice side, who have suffered three straight defeats, conceding ten goals without finding the net themselves.
