Dundee have announced the signing of defender Brad Halliday on a two-and-a-half-year deal from Bradford.
The 30-year-old right-back joins the Dee after three-and-a-half years at the Bantams, with the transfer subject to international clearance.
Halliday told Dundee’s official website: “I’m delighted to finally be up here.
“My best mate in football (Joe Wright) was at Kilmarnock last year – he’s gave me his insight and experience on the Scottish Premiership, I’m really excited and can’t wait to get going.”
Halliday was part of the youth set-up at Middlesbrough, and had loan spells at York, Hartlepool and Accrington before joining Cambridge.
He stayed at Cambridge for three years and shorter stints at Doncaster and Fleetwood followed before moving to Bradford in the summer of 2022.
Dundee also signed midfielder Joel Cotterill, who has joined on loan from Swansea until the end of the season, subject to international clearance.
The 21-year-old was on loan at Bristol Rovers for the first part of the season but the Welsh club recalled him and he has been brought up to Dens Park by Steven Pressley for the rest of the 2025/26 campaign.
Cotterill has also had loan spells at Stockport and Swindon. He said: “It’s a good feeling, nice to be here. I had a Zoom call with the gaffer, was really interesting, said nothing but good things about the club, that really hooked me in.
“Obviously knowing Cam (Congreve), Yan (Dhanda) and Joe Westley helped, I had a few chats with Cam who spoke highly about his time up here so far and would be really good for me, ready for a new challenge.”
