Aberdeen have confirmed the departure of forward Duk to Leganes for an undisclosed fee.
The attacker had joined the Pittodrie club from Benfica in the summer of 2022 and the Portuguese side will be entitled to a portion of the transfer fee received.
The move ends an up and down time for Duk, who impressed in his first season, scoring 18 goals in all competitions, but missed the beginning of this campaign after refusing to return to training in an attempt to force a move.
The player was eventually welcomed back into the fold but failed to regain the form that had made him a fans’ favourite.
Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin said: ““Duk has spoken for some time about his desire to try and make the next step in his career.
“When that happens, I want to ensure all our focus is on the players who can drive Aberdeen towards our objectives.
“His attitude and application since September cannot be faulted and we thank him for his efforts, and of course, for his contribution to the club over the last 3 years.”
