Derek McInnes claims striker Ryan Naderi’s ankle has been left “a mess” after a challenge during the Old Firm game.
The striker, involved in a duel with Celtic’s Mika Baur during last Sunday’s 3-0 win by Rangers, is a doubt for the derby at Parkhead.
McInnes revealed that Rangers CEO Jim Gillespie spoke to head of referees Willie Collum about the challenge that forced Naderi off after 70 minutes.
A free-kick was awarded to Celtic by referee Nick Walsh following the challenge, and McInnes says he finds the decision “strange”.
He said: “I’m really not happy with the challenge but I’m not going to get caught up in referee chat.
“I’m surprised the referee wasn’t asked to look at the challenge, I find it strange.
“Ryan’s ankle is a mess. It was a mess, and it was a poor challenge. Sometimes these challenges can happen but it didn’t look great.
“Ryan is one of two players who is a wee bit of a doubt for the game.”
