Hibernian and St Johnstone have revealed their starting line-ups for the Scottish Cup final at Hampden.
St Johnstone are aiming to pull off a remarkable cup double after winning the League Cup, while Hibs want silverware to add to their thrid-place Premiership finish.
The Easter Road side have rung the changes since their last league match, bringing back eight players who ahd been rested ahead of the final. St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson didn’t have such luxury, with a covid outbreak at McDiarmid Park leaving him sweating over being able to name a full squad.
Hibs have started with Matt Macey in goal, with Josh Doig, Ryan Porteous, Paul Hanlon and Paul McGinn in defence.
Alex Gogic, Jackson Irvine and Joe Newell are in midfield, with Martin Boyle, Christian Doidge and Kevin Nesbit up front for Jack Ross’ side.
Ofir Marciano, David Gray. Kyle Magennis, Drey Wright, Leiws Stevnson, Jamie Murphy, Melker Hallberg and Darren McGregor are on the substitutes bench.
St Johnstone have Zander Clark in goals and Jamie McCart, Liam Gordon and Jason Kerr in defence. Callum Booth and Shaun Rooney are in as wing backs.
Ali McCann, David Wotherspoion and Craig Bryson are in the centre of midfield with Glen Middleton supporting Chris Kane in attack.
Elliot Parish, James Brown, Scott Tanser, Liam Craig, Murray Davidson, Craig Conway, Guy Melamed, Stevie May and Michael O’Halloran are the St Johnstone substitutes.
