Che Adams will start for Scotland against Israel as Steve Clarke makes three changes to his team for Sunday’s World Cup qualifier.

Scotland began the Qatar 2022 qualifying campaign with a 2-2 draw against Austria on Thursday and head coach Clarke has opted to freshen up his side as he targets three points in Tel Aviv.

Adams, Ryan Fraser and Callum McGregor come into the Scotland team, with Lyndon Dykes, Ryan Christie and Stuart Armstrong dropping to the bench.

It will be a first start for Southampton striker Adams, coming days after he made his international debut as a substitute at Hampden.

David Marshall starts in goal, while the manager is continuing with a back three of Kieran Tierney, Grant Hanley and Jack Hendry.

Captain Andy Robertson and Stephen O’Donnell are in the full-back positions with John McGinn and Scott McTominay joined by McGregor in midfield and Fraser playing in support of Adams in attack.
