Brendan Rodgers and Jimmy Thelin have named their starting lineups for Tuesday’s Premiership clash at Parkhead.

Celtic host Aberdeen in league action as they look to bounce back from Saturday’s defeat to Hibernian in Edinburgh.

The Hoops are aiming to strengthen their grip on the title for another season and can move 16-points clear if they get the victory.

Meanwhile third placed Aberdeen can create a four point gap to Dundee United if they take all three points from the home of the champions.

Rodgers has reverted back to the team that drew 1-1 with Bayern Munich in Germany as Jota, Jeffrey Schlupp and Reo Hatate all return from the Easter Road defeat.

Celtic start with Schmeichel in goals and a back four of Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Trusty and Schlupp.

Captain Callum McGregor anchors a three-man midfield beside Engels and Hatate with Jota and Kuhn either side of Daizen Maeda up top.

Thelin has Doohan between the sticks behind Jensen, Tobers, Knoester, MacKenzie, Shinnie, Nilsen, Okels, Keskinen, Nisbet and Dabbagh.
