Celtic player Auston Trusty has withdrawn from the United States national team squad after suffering an injury.
The 26-year-old was hoping to add to his four international caps in the Nations League semi-final clash with Panama on Thursday.
He was selected by manager Mauricio Pochettino alongside Hoops teammate Cameron Carter-Vickers who will make the trip to Los Angeles.
However, Trusty missed Sunday’s defeat to Rangers after picking up an injury in training and has now pulled out of the squad to remain in Glasgow.
The defender, who joined Celtic from Sheffield United in the summer, earned his most recent cap in the 1-0 win over Jamaica in November.
USMNT confirmed on Tuesday that he has been replaced by Columbus Crew defender Max Arfsten.
If the USA beat Panama they will take on either Mexico or Canada in the CONCACAF Nations League final on Sunday night.
