Brian Rose has been appointed as a non-executive director at Celtic with immediate effect.

A lifelong Celtic supporter, Rose is currently a director of Apple Services in London.

Rose told the club’s official website: “It is a tremendous honour to join Celtic and I am really looking forward to working with other board members and colleagues to contribute to the continued growth and development of the club which I have such affection for.

“We are enjoying a fantastic period of sustained success at the club on and off the pitch and my aim will be to build on this great work, using my experience from different but very complementary industries.

“I look forward to playing my part in our future and continuing in our objective of delivering to our supporters, a world-leading football club in every aspect.”

Celtic chairman Peter Lawwell said: “We are delighted to bring Brian on to Celtic’s board of directors and we believe his knowledge and experience will be invaluable to us as we continue to drive the club forward.

“Brian has extensive digital and commercial experience within leading organisations and we look forward to drawing on Brian’s talent in these areas to add real benefit to the club and our supporters.”
