Borna Barisic has returned to the Rangers team for the Europa League first leg match against Braga on Thursday night.

The Croatian left back has been absent for the side’s last two matches after suffering a thigh injury but has recovered for the big occasion against the Portuguese side.

Steven Gerrard has named his side for the match at Ibrox, where Rangers hope to gain an advantage that puts them in pole position to reach the last 16 of the competition.

Allan McGregor is in goals, with Barisic on the left of the defence alongside Nikola Katic, Connor Goldson and James Tavernier.

Glen Kamara, Steven Davis and Scott Arfield are in midfield with Ianis Hagi and Ryan Kent in the wide positions. Alfredo Morelos is the central striker.

Wes Foderingham, Andy Halliday, George Edmundson, Joe Aribo, Brandon Barker, Greg Stewart and Flo Kamberi are the named substitutes.
