Barry Ferguson has named his Rangers team for the second-leg for their Europa League quarter-final against Athletic Club.

The tie is finely poised at 0-0 after the draw at Ibrox a week ago when the Scottish side played most of the game with ten men.

Athletic Club, who currently sit fourth in the Spanish La Liga, missed a penalty and had a goal chopped off in Glasgow.

That means it is all to play for in the return game at the San Mames on Thursday night with a place in the last four of the competition on the line.

Rangers are aiming to reach the final of the competition for the second time in three years following their adventure to Seville in 2022 when they lost an agonising penalty shootout to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Athletic also have an eye on the final that will be played in their home stadium in May.

The winner of the tie will play either Manchester United or Lyon, with Rangers already having lost to both sides in the league phase.

Ferguson has started with Liam Kelly in goals behind a five man defence of Ridvan, James Tavernier, Leon Balogun, John Souttar and Jefte.

Nico Raskin and Mohamed Diomande are in midfield, with Ianis Hagi supporting Vaclav Cerny and Cyriel Dessers up top.
