Arbroath midfielder Scott Allan has signed for Northern Ireland champions Larne FC on loan.
The 31-year-old former Celtic and Hibernian player joins the NIFL side for the remainder of the season.
Larne won their first ever top flight title last season and played in the Champions League qualifiers last month when they lost to Finnish champs HJK 3-2 on aggregate.
Allan played 19 games for Arbroath last season as they narrowly avoided relegation from the Scottish Championship.
The Red Lichties confirmed his departure on Wednesday, saying: “We can confirm tonight that midfielder Scott Allan has joined Northern Irish Football Club Larne FC on a season long loan.
“We would like to wish Scott the best of luck for his loan spell with Larne FC.”
