Andy Murray is through to the second round of an ATP Challenger tournament in Italy.
Murray is playing the second-tier indoor hard court event after failing to recover from coronavirus in time to travel to the Australian Open.
The top seed beat the German world number 203 Maximilian Marterer in three sets on Tuesday.
After dropping the first set on a tie-break, Murray won 6-7, 6-2, 6-3 to progress to the last 16 in Biella.
The Scot is scheduled to play in Italy next week too as he makes his latest comeback from injury.
