Aaron Hickey has been named in the Scotland squad for the first time in two years, kickstarting the team’s World Cup qualifying campaign.
The Tartan Army will be heading to Denmark before a trip to face Belarus in Hungary as Steve Clarke’s men look to qualify for their first World Cup since 1998.
Brentford right-back Hickey returns to the squad after suffering a serious hamstring injury which ruled him out of senior competitive action for 659 days.
Serie A midfielders Scott McTominay, Billy Gilmour, Lewis Ferguson and Lennon Miller, who recently sealed a move to Udinese, have all been given the nod.
Hearts forward Lawrence Shankland is the biggest exclusion from the squad, with in-form Hibs striker Kieron Bowie and a returning Lyndon Dykes being called up.
