Dani Lopez has Caley Thistle contract cancelled by mutual consent
The Spanish striker hasn't featured since being suspended from the club in November.
Dani Lopez has had his Inverness Caledonian Thistle contract ended by mutual consent with six months still remaining.
The Spanish striker was suspended following an incident in an Under-20 match against St Johnstone last November where he allegedly spat on opposition player Neil Martyniuk.
Lopez, who scored the only goal of the game, was sent off in the 1-0 win and didn't play again for the first-team.
He netted once for the senior side this season, in the 4-2 defeat to Celtic at Parkhead at the start of the campaign.
Lopez joined Caley Thistle from Spanish club La Roda this summer on a one-year deal after a successful trial in the Highlands.
The 30-year-old started his career at Atletico Madrid where he went on to play for their B and C sides. He moved to England in 2012 when he signed for Stevenage.
