Dunfermline goalkeeper Sean Murdoch believes Ross County will be cautious about their trip to Fife for the Scottish Cup clash.

The League One side play host to Jim McIntyre's men on Saturday in the fourth round of the competition.

The Pars are enjoying a nine point lead at the top of the table and already caused a Premiership side problems in a cup competition this season.

In September they held Dundee United to a 1-1 draw before losing the League Cup tie by two goals in extra-time.

Murdoch expects the Highlanders to be prepared for a challenge this weekend and believes it's not the draw they would have been looking for.

"I don't think Ross County will be looking forward to coming down to us, they would have been looking to avoid us in the cup," the keeper told STV Sport.

"It's one we're looking forward to, there's not much pressure on us. We're going well in the league but it's a nice break from the league and one the whole squad is looking forward to.

"We had nearly 6,000 fans on Saturday there so everyone can see we're a massive club.

"A lot of people in our squad can play at a higher level so I think Ross County will have done their homework on us and identified our key players."

Pars boss Allan Johnston echoed Murdoch's confidence and says his side are capable of causing an upset.

"We've got goals throughout our whole team and we've scored goals against Premiership teams as well," he said.

"It's going to be a tough test, Ross County are a good team, obviously they've done really well this year but we're going into the game full of confidence and we've got to make sure we play to our maximum."
